Not really much news, but as I've been quiet for a while I thought I should say something.
Turious 0.3 is progressing, slowly. Most of it is being rewritten as 0.2 was somewhat of a bodge up, I basically just tacked a gui on to the text-mode game.
So right now I'm working on the new game engine, io system, and graphics system... it compiles, but there's nothing to see, just a black screen/window. However the engine is now generating maps, they're a bit blocky, but they work. The io system is well underway allowing for communication between players/ai's, the game engine, and the graphics system. Plus the ability to add network games is being built into the game engine and io system.
It's just a lot of coding for no (visible) effect, as all of the above doesn't show on the screen... until I get the graphics engine finished.
But there is progress at least, it just takes time.
